In this episode of The Who Am I? Podcast, Jeff Hopgood delivers a short, powerful motivational reset called “No Time to Waste.”

This episode focuses on priorities, discipline, and intentional living. It challenges listeners to stop living on autopilot, stop giving their best energy to distractions, and start using their time on purpose.

Today’s episode is called “No Time to Waste.”

This motivational reset is for anyone who feels busy but not focused, tired but not fulfilled, and distracted from what really matters.

Using your time wisely does not mean living under pressure. It does not mean rushing through life or trying to do everything at once. It means becoming intentional with your choices, honest about your priorities, and disciplined enough to protect what matters.

In this episode, we talk about the difference between urgency and anxiety, why everything cannot be first, and how discipline gives your time direction. You do not need to fix everything today, but you do need to take ownership of how you are spending your energy, attention, and focus.

Your time is not just minutes on a clock.
Your time is your life.

No time to waste. Use it wisely.

Hello everyone, welcome to another episode of the Who and My Podcast. Once again, I'm your host, Jeff Hopgood. But before we get into today's reset, let me check on you. How are you using your time? Not how busy are you, not how tired are you, not how full your calendar looks, but how are you really using the time you have? Because sometimes, sometimes we say I don't have time when the truth is our time is being spent in places that are not building us, healing us, stretching us, or moving us forward. So take a moment and ask yourself, what got most of my attention today? What received my energy? What did I keep putting off? What did I say was important but never made room for it? See, this is not about shame, this is about awareness. Because you cannot reset what you refuse to recognize. And today the question is simple. Are you using your time or is your time using you? So here's the truth. Time does not wait for you to feel ready. Time does not pause because you are distracted, time does not slow down because you are afraid. Time keeps moving, and every day, every day we are either investing in it, wasting it, or giving it away to things that do not deserve it. And today's episode is called No Time to Waste. Not

Are You Using Your Time

because you have to rush, not because you have to live under pressure, not because every second of your life has to be productive, but because your life is too valuable to keep spending your best energy on things that do not matter. You do not have to move fast, but you do have to move with intention. So, once again, welcome back to the May Week Motivation and the No Time series. This is your moment to pause, reflect, and reset. Today we are talking about using time wisely without living under pressure, because there is a difference between urgency and anxiety. Urgency says this matters, let me give it attention. Anxiety says everything is falling apart. I have to fix it all right now. We are not choosing anxiety, we are choosing intention, we are choosing discipline, we are choosing priorities because when you do not decide what matters, distractions will decide for you. So everything cannot be first. Everything cannot always be first. One of the reasons people feel overwhelmed is because they treat everything like it is equally important. Every text feels urgent, every request feels necessary, every problem feels like it needs an immediate response. Every opportunity feels like it cannot be missed. But everything, everything cannot be first, my friend. What is stealing time from the life, from the life I say I want. Because sometimes we are not tired because life is too hard. Sometimes we are tired because our priorities are out of order.

Urgency Versus Anxiety

We are given prime energy to secondary things, we are given emotional space to people who drains us. We are given hours to distractions and then wondering why our dreams are starving. You cannot keep feeding distractions and expect purpose to grow. At some point, you have to decide this matters, this does not, this can wait, this needs my attention. Now, that is not pressure, that is wisdom. So discipline, discipline gives time direction. Discipline is not punishment. Discipline is direction. Discipline says, I know what I want and I am willing to make choices that support it. Discipline does not mean you never rest. Discipline does not mean you work yourself into the ground. Discipline means you stop letting your feelings be the boss of your future. Because feelings change, motivation fades, energy comes and go, but discipline keeps showing up. Discipline says this. I may not feel like it, but I made a commitment. I may be tired, but I can still take one small step. I may not be able to do everything today, but I can do something.

Put Everything In Its Place

That is how progress happens. Not always in giant leaps. Sometimes progress looks like 10 focused minutes. Sometimes it looks like turning off the phone. Sometimes it looks like saying no. Sometimes it looks like finishing what you started. Sometimes it looks like choosing the hard things now. So your future, your future does not have to keep paying for your delay. So do not rush, just be intentional. Hear me clearly. Do not rush, just be intentional. See, no time to waste does not mean hurry up and panic. It does not mean you have to chase everybody else's timeline. It does not mean you are behind. It means stop living accidentally. Stop letting days pass without no direction. Stop waking up and letting the world hand you your priorities. You do not have to rush. You just need to be intentional. Intentional with your mornings, intentional with your words, intentional with your habits, your peace, intentional with who gets access, that direct access to you. You have to be intentional with what you say yes to because every yes is also a no. See, when you say yes to distractions, you may be saying no to growth. When you say yes to procrastination, you may be saying no to progress. When you say yes to people pleasing, you may be saying no to peace. When you say yes to fear, you may be saying no to purpose. So today, do not ask how can I do everything? Ask what is the right thing for this season. See that question can change your life. It can change your life. So just take a deep breath. And say this with me

Stop Living Accidentally

SPEAKER_00

I will not waste today again. I will not waste today. And say I do not have to rush. I will move with purpose. I will protect my priorities. I will honor my time. I will take one intentional step. See, that is the reset. That is the reset for your mind, body, spirit, and soul. It's not about perfection, but direction. So listen to your life. Listen to your life. Listen, your life is not something to casually spend. Your time is not just minutes on the clock. Your time is your energy, your focus, your attention, your opportunity, your life. And you do not get to go backwards and relive yesterday. But you do get to choose what you do with this moment. So stop waiting for the perfect day. Stop waiting until you feel motivated. Stop giving your best energy to things that leave you empty. That drains you. You do not need to fix everything today. How many times do I have to tell you this? You do not need to fix everything today. You do not need to accomplish everything today. You do not need to carry a pressure that was never meant for you. But you do need to take ownership of today. One decision, one boundary, one focused moment, one step. Because a wasted day can become a pattern. But an intentional day can become a turning point. This is the no time series. And today's reset is simple. No time to waste, no time to drift, no time to keep saying tomorrow. No time to give your future the leftovers of your focus. No time to give your future the leftovers of your focus. Move wisely, move calmly, move intentionally. And remember, you do not have to rush through life to make your life count. You just have to stop wasting time on what does not help you become who you were created to be. So before we move forward, I want you to pause for just a moment. Take a breath. Wherever you are, whatever you're carrying, this next part is for you. Let's speak life over ourselves out loud if you can. Because what we say in this moment has the power to shift how we walk into the rest of our day. So let's begin with our affirmation. I am not defined by my past, nor limited by my mistakes. I am growing, learning, and becoming who I was created to be. I have values beyond titles, roles, and expectations. I choose honesty over fear and growth over comfort. I am allowed to change, heal, and evolve. I walk with purpose, clarity, and courage. I am becoming more aligned with my true self every day. And who I am is enough. So as we close today's episode, I want to thank you for taking this time for yourself. If something you heard inspired you, challenged you, or made you pause and reflect, please, please don't keep it to yourself. Share this episode with someone who may need it. Invite them into the conversation. See, this podcast grows when we grow together. I cannot do

this without you. I really can't. And we grow together through shared stories, honest reflections, and real connection. Every listen, every share, every conversation helps create a community. A community rooted in purpose, rooted in love, rooted in hope, rooted in faith, rooted in trust and truth. So until next time, keep reflecting, keep becoming, and remember you matter. This is the Who Am I Podcast, and let's walk this journey together.
